Udta Teer Movie
Udta Teer (2026) is a Hindi spy action comedy written and directed by Akash A Kaushik, starring Ayushmann Khurrana as Bilal and Sara Ali Khan as Yamini. Bilal is a Pakistani intelligence agent who has secretly worked his way into India’s Counter-Terrorism Service, living under an Indian identity and married to Yamini, a fellow officer who has no idea about his real background. His handlers across the border, Niazi (Ram Kapoor) and General Mir (Gulshan Grover), rely on him for inside information.
Everything turns upside down when an accident during a mission leaves Bilal in a coma. He wakes up with his memory gone. He remembers his training, his skills and his patriotism, but he cannot remember which country that patriotism belongs to. Convinced he is a loyal Indian officer, Bilal starts hunting down terror plots and enemy agents with full sincerity, not realising that the men he is chasing are his own people. His confused bosses at the service, led by M. D. Burman (Rahul Bose), cannot understand the change, and his Pakistani handlers panic as their best agent becomes their worst nightmare.
Packed with mistaken identity, political satire and full-scale action, Udta Teer plays its joke all the way through: a spy who forgot his country but never forgot his duty. The film’s tagline says it best: “Deshbhakti toh yaad hai… par desh nahi.
