The Paradise (2026)
The Paradise (2026) is a Telugu period action drama written and directed by Srikanth Odela, who reunites with Nani after their hit film Dasara (2023). The story is set in the 1980s in a Secunderabad slum called Paradise, home to the Savaari, a marginalised nomadic community. Decades after Independence, the people of this community still have no citizenship, no voting rights and no legal identity. The system treats them as born criminals, and the powerful landlord Shikanji Malik (Mohan Babu) rules over them with an iron fist.
Jadal (Nani) is born into this community. Inspired by the courage of his mother Sammakka (Sonali Kulkarni), he refuses to accept a life of slavery and humiliation. As he starts fighting back, he comes face to face with the Malik family, including the ruthless Vikram Malik (Raghav Juyal). What begins as one man’s anger grows into a full rebellion, as Jadal leads his people in a violent and emotional battle for recognition, dignity and the right to exist.
The film is carried by Nani’s rugged transformation, with long braids and raw Telangana slang, and by Anirudh Ravichander’s thundering music. Released in cinemas on 24 September 2026 to a reported worldwide opening of around ₹88 crore, The Paradise began streaming on Netflix on 22 October 2026 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
